Simple & Inexpensive Recipes from iVillage

I think it's no secret to all of you, from all the recipes I have on this blog, that I enjoy cooking. However, it has not always been this way. I can safely say that this is a newly acquired 'hobby'. I only started cooking a few years ago. Being a somewhat 'newbie' at cooking, I am always on a constant looking for new and simple recipes to try and learn.
I was looking for new recipes online when I stumbled upon iVillage. iVillage is a women's health, wellness and beauty site that has a great deal of information on a plethora of topics. There is just so much to read, from entertainment to beauty & style to parenting topics. I was instantly drawn to the food section (of course). It was loaded with all kinds of food tips and recipes! The food just looks so delicious and the recipes looks like it will be easy to make, even for a cooking newbie like me.
As I continued to explore the site, I found that there were also videos of various simple and inexpensive to make recipes! How fun is that? It makes learning a particular recipe easier. Some of the videos even featured Top Chef Contestant Ariane Duarte, sharing some of her simple and inexpensive summer recipes! I just love the T-Bone Steak with Garlic Lime Butter and Watermelon Feta Salad recipe. I will definitely try it out one of these days. I like how affordable the food is and yet is able to feed a family of at least 4. It shows that you do not need expensive ingredients to make good food. There are also several inexpensive recipes for steak dinners as well as one for ice cream cake
This videos are from Momtorage.com, a site affiliated with iVillage.com and sponsored by Walmart. Also, since they are Walmart sponsored videos, anything you see used in the videos can be purchased there! Isn't that cool? Hey, don't take my word for it. Go check it out yourself!
