A Message From Our Desktop

Dear Charlene & Kevin,

I've been meaning to send you guys this message for the longest time, but I've just never gotten around to it. You guys keep me so busy all the time. From the moment Kevin wakes up, he would come on to check his emails. After he leave for work (just when I thought I would have a chance to take a break), Charlene comes on. She would constantly be on, be it going online to write her blog or check emails, uploading and editing photographs, word processing, watching movies..heck, she even reads her daily news online! You guys never unplug me, let alone turn me off. I'm constantly on standby, eagerly awaiting for new instructions from you. I'm getting old, I need a break sometimes, you know.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining. I remember the look and excitement on your faces when you first bought me, while you guys were still in college. I was one of the new top of the range models. I remember the pride in your eyes when you showed me off to your friends. I was there during graduation and I worked hard thru endless nights, when you were surfing the Internet, looking for jobs as a fresh grad. I remember Kevin secretly coming online late at night to look for engagement rings while Charlene was sleeping and Charlene and I spent months looking at wedding dresses, searching for wedding venues and everything related to the wedding. Remember how my system overloaded one day and you thought that we had lost all wedding guest list and important data a few weeks before the wedding? Ahhh, aren't you lucky that I am smart and had backed up all the important data? I was there to help you edit all your wedding photos and went on countless real estate sites to look for your first apartment. Remember that? You guys are like my best friend, I watched you guys 'grow up'.

After all this years, I am still working hard for you. Many would have just given up and stopped working. Not me. Why? I don't know. Maybe cos I'm a HP. That's why I don't give up and I am built to last. Yes, I might not be as fast as I used to be and certain apps don't really work that well anymore. I survived many virus attacks and had to be reformatted quite a number of times. What I am trying to say is...I think it is time. No, not time to replace me but maybe it's time to get me a companion. Somebody to help ease the daily heavy workload, somebody who is up to date with the current technology. Somebody who can work faster and also looks good. Maybe a HP Pavilion Slimline or a Pavilion Elite. I bet we can work well together. Why I am bringing this up now is because there are some amazing coupon deals from HP at this moment. You can get a $30 stackable site-wide coupon from HP. That's right. You get $30 off orders $150 or greater at the HP Home Store. Just use the coupon code SV2132. Remember, it's only valid through 10/31 or while supplies last. Also, restrictions and exclusions apply. Isn't that great? Now you can go get me a helper and you can save some money while doing so!! What are you waiting for? Go on...go get that new HP computer today! :D
With love,
Your trusty old buddy, Desktop.
