Ahhh what a hectic few months it has been. The holiday season seemed to go on forever! It started off with Thanksgiving, follow by Christmas, New Year and finally Chinese New Year. Somewhere in between all that was Valentine's Day and also our 3rd Anniversary. Wow, it was practically one celebration after another. With all the excessive eating involved, we were pretty anxious when we went for our annual physical last week. We were half expecting our cholesterol levels to skyrocket or something close to that. We just got our results a couple of days ago and thank God, we were both given a clean bill of health. All our numbers looked great...so..yeah..PHEWW!
While we were at the doctors office, I couldn't help but notice all the colorful scrubs worn by the nurses as well as the medical assistants. I know, I have talked about those scrubs before but still, they never fail to amaze me. It's just that I am so used to the usual boring blue or green baggy scrubs worn by the medical staff back home in Malaysia. Here, not only do they come in all sorts of colors and patterns, they come in different cuts too. This way, everybody can look good in scrubs.
Also, our apartment is rather close to quite a few medical centers here in Newark. So, we see people dressed in scrubs all the time. Seriously, it's like a scrub fashion show. All types of colors and styles. One day, I saw this lady wearing some really cool hot pink scrubs and I wondered where she got them from. I hopped online to look for a medical uniform shop that makes scrubs like those and I found Blue Sky Scrubs. Not only do they have the same exact color and pattern (I am pretty sure she got hers from there too!) but they have a whole lot of other lovely looking scrubs to choose from too!
