You know how I'll always give my readers a heads up when there are new and cool sweepstakes in town? Well, this is one you must totally check out. LG is running their "Lose The Ugly, Find Your Bliss" from September 11 til November 6, 2009! So, what's the sweeps all about? Well, it’s time to lose the ugly and find your bliss. Help make the world a better-looking place by dropping off photos and videos of your old, outdated, or just plain ugly stuff. That's right, they are looking for a picture or video of the ugliest things you have seen! Check out the LG widget on my sidebar. You can get an idea and examples of some really ugly photos that others have already uploaded.
How do you join? Just head over to the LG Bliss Facebook Fan Page. This is where you can upload photos or videos that you deem ugly. While you are there, you can also check out The Gallery of the Utterly Ugly. This is where you can lose your ugly stuff to clear the way for more Bliss, as well as browse through other people’s ugly leave-behinds. Examples include:
• Trashy Trends (fabulously ugly fashion)
• Mutant machines (these mutant machines and outdated electronics belong in the junkyard)
• Ugly wonders of nature (naturally occurring wonders that make even the ugly tree look good)
• Ugly-mobiles (rides that are heading non-stop to Ugly Town)
Once you have gotten rid of the Ugly, what do you stand a chance to win? Well, you will stand a chance to win a brand new LG Bliss phone. The grand prize is the new LG Bliss phone and the secondary prize is a $50 gift card so you can buy your own bliss! There will be five grand prize winners and fifty secondary winners.
