Experience the History, Romance and Charm...

* This is a Sponsored Post written by me on behalf of St Augustine, Ponte Vedra & The Beaches, Florida. All opinions are 100% mine.

We were watching the news a few days ago and they were doing a bit about spring break. Wow, looks like it's spring break season is here again! What do you think of when spring break comes to mind? Heading out to the beach! That's right. Back when we were still in college, that would be the highlight of the year. Non stop partying from sundown to sunrise! These days, we still love the beach. Oh yes we do. However, we are now looking for something a little different.

I came to know about St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and the beaches in Florida not to long ago. No, I have never been to St. Augustine or Ponte Vedra before but from what I hear, it's definitely the place to be. I've been told that St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and the Beaches is a Florida getaway unlike any other. There, brick streets lead to historic churches, living history museums, antiques stores, charming restaurants, shops as well as B&Bs. Also, you will find a centuries-old fort standing guard, horse-drawn carriages clip-cloping through the historic district and if you are interested, ghost tours that show you the area’s secrets! Sounds exactly like a perfect vacation getaway for me!

If I were to visit St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and the Beaches, there would be many things that I would like to do. Maybe I would start off by shopping at St George St followed by a visit to the colonial Spanish Quarter. We would then walk a few short blocks down Cordova Street to Old St. Augustine Village, a walled city block with nine houses built from 1790 to 1910. I'm sure that will be very interesting. I'll then spend the afternoon enjoying a romantic ride on a horse drawn carraige and end the night by joining the Old Town Trolleys Ghosts and Gravestones tour.

There are many inns, motels, b&bs as well as hotels to choose from too. If given a chance, I would love stay at St. Francis Inn. Located in the heart of St. Augustine's Historic District, this Bed & Breakfast couples a romantic atmosphere with modern comforts. How charming.

St. Augustine, Ponte Vedra and the Beaches is indeed full of history, romance and charm. You too can experience all that and more. Just visit http://www.romanceliveshere.com/ and plan your dream vacation today!
