As many of you know, both Kevin and I are really big movie buffs. We would watch at least one full length movie per week, if not more. A lot of you also know that I am not really into action movies and prefer romantic comedies and dramas. However, I have a little secret. Even though I do not like action movies, I am a huge kungfu movie fan! That's right, I do not like Hollywood style action movies but love those Hong Kong/Chinese style action movies. I starting watching them as a little girl in Malaysia and I still watch them up til today.
With that being said, you can imagine my excitement when I heard about the new movie Bodyguards & Assassins. It featured a star studded cast and was released in theaters last year. Among some of the big names featured in this movie is Donnie Yen, Nicholas Tse, Tony Leung, Leon Lai, Wang Xueqi, Simon Yam, Eric Tsang and Fan Bingbing. Wow! Simply amazing. A cast full of hotties! Not only are they great actors but they are really good looking too. No wonder this movie won multiple awards and nominations at various film festivals and awards. While watching the movie, I told myself that I can't wait for the DVD to be released. Such an awesome award winning movie deserves a spot in my DVD collection. Well, guess what? Come May 31st, Bodyguards & Assassins will be available on DVD and Blu-ray E1 Entertainment. Woohoo! If you have not watched this movie, you HAVE to go get the DVD.
