The Nurse's Guide to Good Living

I love reading magazines online. While searching for new and interesting online magazines, I came across Scrubs - the nurse's guide to good living. I've always regarded nursing as a noble career, doctors would be nothing without nurses. Scrubs is not just another clinical nursing site (we know there are plenty of those online) but its the one and only site that's 100 percent about you -the nurse, personally as well as professionally and the very specific joys and challenges you face because of the noble career you chose. It's a magazine for every nurse! It also talks about lifestyle issues, gives advice on the "stages of a nursing career" (such as student nurse, new nurse, seasoned/mentor), is direct and is very timely, yet original. You'll not only find career advice and inspiring stories, but also beauty and fashion tips as well as lots of ideas on making your downtime as relaxing as your work life is demanding. Scrubs is a fun, warm, inspiring, uplifting and positive magazine meant for nurses but it can be enjoyed by everyone!
I just love the articles in Scrubs (eventhough I am not a nurse). I spent hours browsing through and just reading all the articles. With the current spread of the Swine Flu virus, I found the article "What Nurses Can Tell Patients About Swine Flu" to be very informative. It gives information and answers to some of the more frequently asked questions about the virus like "How do I know if I have Swine Flu", "How can I avoid Swine Flue" and "What should I do in the event of an outbreak?". There are many helpful and informative articles such as this in Scrubs. Scrubs is a wonderful magazine with interesting articles and a great layout for nurses and others alike. Go ahead check it out!
