Our Ranch Travel Info Pack!

It is here at last! After waiting for months (we found out that we won this trip in May), the final package from Marlboro arrived a few days ago. I knew that it would be arriving that day, so I was waiting anxiously for it! Here it is, the medium size FedEx box that contained all our travel information and documents. So, what's inside the box?

Well, after ripping open the box in excitement, I found two black caps with the Crazy Mountain Ranch logo (which we are supposed to wear that in the airport - makes it easier for the other Ranchers as well as the Ranch staff to identify us) and two folders.

This is what the folder looks like inside. There is a whole bunch of stuff in there!

Here is a breakdown of all the stuff that can be found inside the folder. A letter with all our travel information, Ranch dos and don'ts, a list of what we should bring and other information about the trip. Our activity confirmation sheet was also included in the folder. Looks like we are signed up for Fly Fishing in the morning and the Backcountry Jeep Tour, complete with a Chuck wagon lunch in the afternoon on Day 2. On Day 3, we will take part in the Adventure Trek and Zipline in the morning and head out for a scenic horseback ride in the afternoon. Sounds good to me!
Here are our flight tickets. We will be heading out from La Guardia at 7am on the 19th with a short layover in O'Hare before arriving Bozeman, Montana at noon. We will be returning on the 22nd, with an ETA of 9:30pm in LGA. We will be flying United all the way. Cool!
We also got two luggage tags each. Looks like we will be staying in the Bank (Ranchers get to stay in different buildings in the 'cowboy town'...post office, bank, ect...), in the Gallatin room on the second floor. I am very happy that we got the second floor, cause we will then have a nice balcony. Rooms on the first floor opens out to a patio that leads to the main road.
Since we can't use our cell phones at the Ranch (there are no cell phone signals in the ranch), they gave us four contact cards with the Ranch's address and contact information printed on it. We can give it out to our family and friends, so that we can be contacted in the event of an emergency.
We are now required to pay for every piece of luggage that we check in for domestic flights, so Marlboro has included 4 prepaid credit cards worth $20 each, for us to use when checking in our luggage. Two to go and two for the return trip.

The last thing in the folder is the prize award check for $1,250. I guess this is to help pay for the tax from this trip that we will be getting at the end of the year.

Looks like everything is in place and we are all set to leave in less than a weeks time! This is so exciting, we can't wait to head out to Montana for our 'adventure of a lifetime'!

The room and bathroom was nice with all the "old" furniture. The whole entire place from the room to the saloon, store, Main Street, made us feel like we were back in the 1800's. Enjoy the great food! My favorite activity was shooting clay and horse back riding.
